HELP! Wanting to run Sanctum Cay.
Hi guys, I'm a warrior and lately I've been down on cash. Now, the best thing that comes to mind is a sanctum cay run. SS Tours take too long, Droks has been nerfed a bit (plus I hate the spawns) so I've turned to Cay runs.
I'm not a pro runner, nor a newbie runner. I spent most of my time in factions at imperial sanctum chest running. Here's my build.
"Charge!"
Sprint
Endure Pain
Defensive Stance
Signet of Stamina
Purge Conditions
Remove Hex
Healing Signet
My question is, what monsters will I be encountering? (can't go on GW right now) The one thing I really only care about is mesmers and eles with speed de-buff.
Also, can someone provide a map with the route I should take?
1 more thing, where should I start the run? LA?
Thanks in advance!

I'm assuming you're talking about running TO Sanctum Cay and not running the mission itself, correct?
Usually, a run will take someone from Lions Arch to Temple of Ages and to Sanctum Cay. Your build is fine, although you aren't going to experience hardly any slowdown hexes (and very few slowdown conditions, other than those nasty Grasping Ghouls and their Cripple attack). Health regeneration (i.e. Mending/Healing Breeze) actually might be preferable, due to the significant number of Inferno Imps (and their nasty burning) that you'll face.

Yea, I meant running TO cay.
One thing, if I run into agro of the imps and then charge/sprint, how long do they follow me for? Because with 858HP (600 Normally + 258 SoS) burn isn't that much a deal. I would just run away, heal sig and continue OR use purge.

I've found that if you start with the 25% speed boost before aggroing enemies that they'll follow you less. I maybe be wrong but that's what I think.
I'm also wanting to run to Sanctum since I dont' want to do Droks and I haven't seen any other runs that are good. How long doe a rn to Sanctum usually take?

could u run this on a R/mo? i heard there wasnt alot of dmg, just dgen...You throw up mending and troll unguent and you'll be fine with that, then you have about 30% faster speed for the entire run with 3 stances..and energy shouldnt be a problem because you'l lhave ~11 or mor expertise.
anyone run it on a R/x before?

Tried a run... went good. It's maybe about 15 mins. 6 party 1 for me 5 buyers. I charged them 2k ea. 5 x 2 = 10. 10K in 15 mins. I like.

I'm a new-ish runner, and I got a great build to run to cay. It's w/mo, but doesn't use anything but mending from monk. The skills are:
Mending
Sprint
"To the Limit!"
Rush
"I will Survive!"
Endure Pain
Defensive Stance
Healing Signet
Get 8 Healing Prayers, then evenly distribute stats for str and tactics, maybe a lil more in str. Use "TtL!" when you come across a big mob, and then use rush to get you going for a while. As I said, I'm a newb runner and I did this run without dying. Kinda went off-course a little, too :P
